Youth Development
The role of youth in nation-building and development of society is very important because the development of any nation lies in the future generation. The youth are the backbone of our country. They are often goal oriented, highly intelligent, and eager to learn. They are also very social and enjoy being around others of their own age. They can play a crucial role for addressing pressing social issues, such as gender inequality, poverty, blind belief, child marriage, alcoholism, and environmental degradation etc.
Now a days youth faces challenges such as unemployment, limited access to quality education, and lack of participation in decision-making processes. Empowering youth through job creation and entrepreneurship is important for their personal growth and economic progress.
Youth volunteers have been promoted in 13 villages of Muribahal block and training has been provided them on vision building, developed village, drinking water and sanitation, social security and government entitlements. They are now the key stakeholders in village development. They paved the way to other youths in their villages.
